Angel Sports Basketball Program

OLPH Angels basketball participation is open to children in Grades 2 through High School who attend OLPH School or are members of OLPH parish.

The 2nd and 3rd grades play in Intramural Leagues held at Trinity School and Our Lady of Victory.  Grades 4 through 8 play in the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Leagues.  CYO League games are held at various schools throughout the Archdiocese of Baltimore, including OLPH School.  The High School athletes play in Intramural Leagues held at OPLH, St. Mark's and various other schools. 

In the 2010-2011 season, OLPH had over 160 participants in all leagues combined.

All coaches are STAND certified by the Archdiocese of Baltimore and in addition, must complete a CYO Coach class administered by the CYO of Baltimore.

Practices:
Practices are held during the school week and take place in the OLPH School gymnasium.

Games:
Games take place on on Saturdays or Sundays.  The day your team plays is determined by the league your particular team is playing in. 

2011 Cost for Player Participation:

• $75 per player
• $150 for two players from one family
• $170 for three or more players per family
