Aware of the responsibility we bear toward one another, OLPH School builds-in opportunities for students to reach-out to those in need. This readiness to reach-out begins with an awareness of the dignity and value of each and every human person made in the image and likeness of God.
Special outreach projects are incorporated each year, especially during Lent, that build on the school’s annual religious theme. In this way, our good works are tied back to our faith and made more meaningful because of it. Every year, the OLPH School community collects monetary donations for various organizations. In addition, the community collects canned goods, coats, food for Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas gifts, hygiene items, and paper goods.
