The Home and School Association (HSA) is a partnership between parents and professionals in the formation of values for the children consistent with and reflective of Christian principles and helps further the work of the school. The Home and School Association strives to maintain and improve understanding between parents, faculty, and administration of OLPH School, and contributes to the financial support of the school.
The HSA acts as the central organizing group for parent volunteer activities. The HSA executive Board meets on a monthly basis for discussion and planning. Parents are recruited through the Home and School Association’s volunteer sign-up at the beginning of the school year. Each homeroom has Room Parents to help coordinate activities, which the class plans over the school year. Parent volunteers assist teachers during school hours or work at home.
Families are welcomed to attend monthly HSA Board Meetings, held the 3rd Monday of each month, as well as our two general meetings. As the information shared is considered very important and any input from families is greatly valued, we ask that a minimum of one adult from each family attend the semi-annual meetings.
